A freely downloadable demo version of Ridom TraceEditPro is available. This version is for evaluation purposes only. Demonstration mode disables saving, exporting, copying, similarity searching and printing of sequence data.

For viewing and printing PDF documents, the freely available Adobe Acrobat Reader is required (can be downloaded from www.adobe.com).

Installing Instructions

For Windows:

1. Please close all other applications before installing Ridom TraceEditPro-DEMO!
2. Start the installer executable and follow the messages of the wizard dialog. After the installation procedure is completed Ridom TraceEditPro-DEMO can now be run by clicking the desktop icon or selecting the entry in the Start Menu.
3. Ridom TraceEditPro-DEMO will create a profile directory located in your home directory (e.g., this will normally be a path like C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\traceeditpro). This directory will contain the configuration file and the logging file.
